Subsea Energy Solutions (SES) completes Wave Energy project in Hawaii

The unnamed project involved SES providing a package of equipment which included SUB-BSR-D™ Dynamic Bend Stiffeners and SUB-BUOY™ Marine Buoyancy Modules.

SUB-BSR-D™ Dynamic Bend Stiffeners are a highly engineered product to provide a pre-defined stiffness to a cable or umbilical at its point of connection to a rigid structure or other system component. Its primary function is to limit design life bending stresses in the line at its most vulnerable point, thus removing the potential for damage at the line connection as a result of over bending.

SES SUB-BUOY™ Marine Buoyancy Modules are specifically engineered for shallow and surface uses typically associated with marine and maritime applications. Our range of marine buoyancy modules and products has been designed to ensure best in class products for each respective application.

Subsea Energy Solutions produced the solution to working to the client’s exact specifications. 

All manufacturing was completed during 2021 whilst operating under COVID-19 restrictions.
