Subsea Energy Solutions (SES) are pleased to announce the successful completion of the rapid turnaround project for an unnamed client.
SES received an urgent request from a client to provide a solution to a critical issue of wear on a water hose.
The vessel with the equipment in question was due to leave port in two weeks, so a rapid turnaround was required. It was upon identifying the problem that the client chose Subsea Energy Solutions.
Subsea Energy Solutions designed a bespoke polyurethane collar to clamp around the hose and prevent wear against the adjacent components. Clamping was achieved through use of stainless steel strapping, which was also supplied by SES, including all necessary equipment required to install the collars.
The entire project, including tooling, was produced and delivered on-site in The Netherlands within 2 weeks of receiving the enquiry.

Subsea Energy Solutions successfully completed the fast-turn around which allowed the client to install the collars and set sail without a delay to their schedule.
The project was completed during March 2021.
