Subsea Energy Solutions (SES) are pleased to announce the successful completion of three projects for international client Strohm (formerly Airborne Oil and Gas).
Strohm is the world’s first and leading manufacturer of fully bonded, Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP). Their lightweight, high strength and corrosion resistant composite pipes provide cost and operational benefits in subsea intervention and production applications.
For three of its recent projects Strohm selected Subsea Energy Solutions, for the supply of bend restrictors, ballast modules and other permanent subsea equipment. These TCPs are to be installed in Africa and the Far East.

For the projects Subsea Energy Solutions provided a complete equipment package including its patented SUB-VBR™ Vertebrae Bend Restrictors and SUB-BALLAST-TCP™ Ballast Modules, designed specifically for Thermoplastic Composite Pipe.

All manufacturing was completed during 2020 and 2021 whilst operating under COVID-19 restrictions.
