Subsea Energy Solutions is delighted to confirm we have once again provided our bespoke SUB-VBR Vertebrae Bend Restrictors successfully to client specification.

 

Solution Details

Within this project, there was a requirement for the equipment to be retrofitted into a location with no flange. The need to create the interface without any steel interfaces present, meant creating a solution for the VBR to be connected directly to a plain concrete face.

As part of the solution, Subsea Energy Solutions supplied stainless 316 RAWL bolts meaning that an interface for a VBR adaptor was possible, linking to the rest of the SUB-VBR™ Vertebrae Bend Restrictor.

“No Interface? No Problem!”. For the client this solved a potential problem with innovative thinking.
