Subsea Energy Solutions have successfully delivered ballast clamps for a Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) on time to Angola.

Solution Details
Our Client required SES to design piggy back clamps that could allow connection of a ballast wire to help weigh the TCP down, this system was then tested with a 13 ton axial pull test whilst only using a minimal amount of clamping pressure. Steve Nichols Production Manager said that again this project was an example of company team work to be able to attain the tight delivery schedule from design through to production and ultimately despatching the finish solution on time, ensuring another satisfied customer.
