Last week Subsea Energy Solutions (est. 2011) had the pleasure of hosting Harry Hurley for work experience. 🙏🏻

Harry is currently in his final year studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hull, his course has a large focus on renewable energy which has led Harry to have a keen interest in the sector. 🌏

During his time with SES, we set him the task of designing a modification to our existing test rig so that we could complete even more of our testing in house. Harry came up with a design on Solidworks and then verified the design using hand calcs, SES engineering team provided some guidance and verified the design and calculations produced. 🏆

We were all very impressed with Harry's attitude and what he managed to accomplish within the week. SES look forward to seeing how Harry gets on in his final year and we are very keen to welcome him back for future work experience whenever he gets time during holidays.
